College Resume Templates by University

Free, ATS-ready resume templates for 50 US universities — pick your school to see the format, skills, and bullet points recruiters expect from its graduates.

What a school-specific resume template gives you

Every page in this collection is a resume guide built for one specific university. You get the section order recruiters expect from that school's graduates, the skills that show up most often in job postings aimed at them, and concrete rewrites that turn coursework, research, and campus leadership into bullet points a hiring manager will actually finish reading.

There are 50 schools here, covering the Ivy League, the top private research universities, and the large public flagships that send the most graduates into the job market each year.

Why the school on your resume changes what belongs on it

A generic resume template treats every applicant the same. Recruiters don't. A firm that recruits at Georgia Tech is reading for system architectures, benchmarks, and the tools you actually shipped with. A firm that recruits at Georgetown is reading for the office you staffed and the policy you moved. Same page count, completely different signal.

Your school already tells a recruiter what kind of training you had. The resume's job is to confirm it with specifics — which is much easier when you start from what the school is known for instead of guessing.

What “ATS-ready” actually means

Before a person reads your resume, software usually sorts it. Applicant tracking systems parse the file into fields — name, dates, employer, title, skills — and anything they can't parse is quietly dropped. Multi-column layouts, text baked into images, content stuffed in headers and footers, and invented section names are the most common reasons a qualified applicant never surfaces in a recruiter's search.

Every template here uses a single-column layout, standard section headings, real selectable text, and plain date ranges. It stays legible to the parser and still looks deliberate to the person who opens it next.

ApplyWell is $9 per resume — no subscription, no trial that quietly converts, and no account to create. Your work is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. Every template on this site is free to read and copy by hand; the $9 covers the guided builder and the PDF and Word export when you want the finished document.
